September is here, which means it’s fall sports season in San Antonio! With college football kicking off, San Antonio FC in the USL Cup semifinals and the Missions wrapping up the regular season, we’re here to help you kick off a spectacular month of sports the right way!

That starts by giving you the chance to win a pair of tickets to Armored MMA at the Boeing Center at Tech Port on September 19th! Armored MMA features medieval cage matches where both combatants are decked out in full-body armor and given blunted (aka safe) combat weapons to duke it out for glory. • Catch colossal clashes on the court this week for the UTSA Invitational! The volleyball action kicked off this morning, but you can still see UTSA face Tarleton State tomorrow before UIW takes on the Texans this Saturday at home.

• The Roadrunners football season starts here! UTSA battles UT Rio Grande Valley this Saturday in a Texas-sized home opener at the Alamodome.

• Trinity also hosts a gridiron home opener this week when the Tigers take a swipe at the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs on Saturday night.

• Don’t miss a pair of must-see San Antonio FC showdowns this week, starting with a Saturday Loteria Night match versus FC Tulsa before the team heads into the USL Cup semifinals against Louisville FC on Tuesday.
